Tips

OK, so bingo is obviously not a casino game, so what’s it doing on a site called OnlineCasinoKing.com?

Good question! We don’t go that deeply into the game here, but we do know that bingo is popular with many of our slots and roulette players. There’s a bit of an overlap. Also, most of the top bingo sites these days have some pretty good side games that you can play in between games (slots mostly). So this section is all about where to play if you do enjoy marking off your cards.

There are 4 main types of bingo played online- the main ones being 75-ball and 90-ball, both of which are readily available online.

In the UK, Europe, and Australia, the most common game you’ll see is the 90-ball game, which you play on a 9×3 card. Each card has 3 horizontal lines (5 numbers each) and 9 columns.  The 1st column has numbers from 1-9, the 2nd column has numbers from 10-19, the 3rd 20-29 and so on, to the final column which has numbers from 80-90.

You’ll normally play in 3 steps: 1 line, 2 lines and full house. In a “one liner”, you need to get a complete horizontal line across one card (5 numbers). In a  ‘two liner’, you need 2 lines horizontally across one card (10 numbers). And then a “full house” would be all numbers marked off on one card (15 numbers). The payout will depend on each stage and is shared equally among the winners. You’ll win the most with a Full House, of course.

The 75-ball game is similar except it is played on a 5×5 card with the centre square marked ‘free’. The letters B-I-N-G-O feature at the top of the bingo card: they correspond with each of the 5 columns on the card.

The pattern you need to mark off can vary, from a  straight line to more complex patterns. Mark off the numbers in the pattern to win the prize.
