Harrah's Launch New Caesars Palace Online Casino
Harrah's - one of the largest casino companies on the planet who are famous for their casinos (such as Caesars Palace) in Las Vegas, Macau and Atlantic City, have "soft launched" an online casino called Caesars Palace Online.
What does that mean? ("Soft Launched", we mean). Well, it means that they are open for business on the site, but are not yet promoting it aggressively. And making sure that everything "under the bonnet" of the casino is working smothly. The casino is currently not accepting players from the United States- they are focusing on the UK for now.
Caesars Palace Casino online features Caesars Entertainment's famous black and gold livery.
The casino uses software provided by 888's Dragonfish division, with video slots and a wide choice of casino games such as video poker, blackjack, roulette and craps.
There has been plenty of speculation that Harrah's had been working on its online casino in the hope that a change to the legal status of online gambling in the US is imminent. There is currently a legal to and fro going on over the 2006 Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA), which makes it difficult for companies to offer online casino services in the United States.
For now, US players cannot play at Caesar's Palace Online, (neither can German players). Visitors from these countries are redirected to land-based casino info page.
For players in the UK, however, where the online casino market is regulated, there is £500 up for grabs for first time players. We'll be shortly doing a full review, so watch this space as they say in Vegas.
