Virgin already goes to Las Vegas London Gatwick Airport. This new service will be alot more convenient for passengers from the north-west.
Virgin's CEOe Steve Ridgway said: "The decision to expand our Manchester flying programme underlines our commitment to flying to long-haul destinations from regional airports in the UK and these Manchester flights will be a great addition to our current services."
The route was previously operated by bmi, but they gave up the route when they moved their long-haul routes to Heathrow.
