European Blackjack Gold is a Microgaming variant and is one of their favourite variants.
This variant is played with 2 standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled before each game.
You can split any 2 cards that have the same denomination (ie you can split K,Q). You can ONLY split once.
You can Double Down on your 1st two cards on a “hard” total (no ace or any Ace valued at 11) of 9, 10 or 11.
You can’t Double Down after splitting.
You can take out Insurance.
You cannot surrender hands
The Dealer must stand on all 17 and over.
Remember, the dealer does not peek. He does not check for a Blackjack when dealt a 10 or an Ace.

The Dealer is dealt one card, face-up. There are no hole cards.
Blackjack is the top hand and automatically stands.
Blackjack cannot be beaten, but can matched.
All face cards are worth 10 (J,Q,K).
Aces are valued as either 1 or 11.
Both the player and the Dealer can add up to 9 cards to make a hand of 11, provided neither goes bust (over 21).
If a hand is still lower than 21 after 11 cards, you must stand.
