We measure the visits on our site using Google Analytics and Statcounter. These services record what pages you visited, how you got there and some basic anonymous information about your computer. We don’t know who you are; just that a computer visited the site. This helps us to understand the successful and useful parts of the site, and which pages are not so useful. Social networks such as Facebook and Twitter provide share buttons which we sometimes have on our website – (eg “Like” and “Tweet” buttons on the blog.)
