Mega Moolah Jackpot Win

The Mega Moolah jackpot, one of the biggest progressive slots jackpots on the Internet, has just been won by an unknown online slots player at Blackjack Ballroom: an online casino from the Casino Rewards group.

The slots machine which networks its jackpot across multiple casinos, had racked up a mega jackpot of US$ 5 556 736 when somebody, somewhere scooped the big one. The highest ever payout online for a slots progressive was paid out last year in 2007 when Intercasino stumped up US$ 5.9 million for a punter playing on the Millionaire's Club progressive. But this win comes close and was widely anticipated, as the progressive jackpot has been hitting record levels of late.
 
The first Mega Moolah jackpot was paid out in November 2007 and amounted to 4.3 million SA Rands - (around £313 000) so this latest payout easily smashes that record.
