This is a Microgaming variant with a very clean cut set of rules- it’s one of their most popular blackjack games for that reason.
The main rules you need to be aware of are the fact that you can’t surrender and the dealer must stand on all 17. Also, you can’t split ten valued cards that are the same denomination, i.e. you can split a pair of Queens but not a K and a 10 (unlike, say, Vegas DownTown).
This is part of the Gold Series of blackjack games- which all have a quality feel to them. The dealing and graphics are smooth- they’re great to play. Other games in the Series include Vegas Strip Blackjack Gold, Classic Blackjack Gold, and Super Fun 21 Blackjack Gold.
This variant is played with 2 standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled before each game. If you want a game with fewer decks, try NetEnt’s Single Deck blackjack.
You can split any 2 cards with the same denomination, but ONLY once.
You can Double Down on your first 2 cards if they are a “hard hand” (no ace or any Ace valued at 11) with a value 9, 10 or 11.
You can’t Double Down if you have already split.
You can take out Insurance.
You cannot surrender hands
The Dealer stands on all 17.
