Posted on June 16th, 2009

One of the UK’s largest ever lottery wins- £25 million- has been won by retired engineer Brian Caswell, 74, and his bettor half (sic) Joan, 71, of Bolton. The husband and wife team with the Midas Touch shared last Friday’s Euromillions £50 million jackpot with an Irish citizen.

Brian and Joan had just held celebrations for their Golden wedding anniversary (50 short years) a fortnight ago and have two daughters, Angela, 45, who lives in Halifax, and Helen, 47 from Calderdale. Congratulations!
