Is this the best slot ever? We have been receiving glowing reports from our members about the new branded Gladiator Slot at Bet 365.
Bet 365 has just launched the official Gladiator Slot- and it is getting rave reviews across the board.
Based on the film of the same name- ie a Roman Empire themed game, with an arena, the emperor, slaves and legendary battles.
Gladiator the movie was released in May 2000 and starred Russell Crowe as Maximus, Joaquin Phoenix as “Commodus” and Connie Nielsen as “Lucilla”. The film won five Oscars- so the slot game has got big boots to fill, but we reckon that they have just about pulled it off.
The graphics are superb- this is the first of what software developer Playtech is calling their “next generation of online slots games”.
Gladiator is a 5-reel, 25-line video slot featuring Gladiator themed reels symbols and characters from the film. Look out for Commodus, Proximo, Lucilla, and Marcus Aurelius. You can pick a number of different bet levels and lines to play on each each spin and there is a repeat game option for fast play. (Check out the Auto Start option once you have chosen your preferences). If you land 5 “Commodus” symbols you win 5,000 times your bet. If you land 3 or more Coliseums it triggers the Coliseum Bonus… which is where the real action starts.
In the Coliseum Bonus game you get to pick from 4 rows of stone plates, with free games, free game multipliers and extra symbols all on offer. Each row offers 1 of 4 chances to land an entire column, pick again from same row, move up to next stage or collect bonus win. You can scoop up to 24 freebie games with up to 3x multiplier. The bonus game has additional extra symbols that morph into wild and scatter during the free games.
What else? Well there are plenty of other features - land the Gladiator symbol on reels 2,3 and 4 and you land the Gladiator Bonus with a video clip from the movie across the 3 central reels. You´ll get 9 helmets with credit prizes and can win up to 90 times your total bet.
