It’s no overstatement to say that the game of blackack has been transformed by the Internet. There have always been many variants of the game with different rules- such as Vegas Strip Blackjack, Atlantic City Blackjack, Super Fun 21 and so on.
Online blackjack has added even more variants to the list. That’s all good news, in one sense, as we all have more choice. But it can be hard to navigate your way through the choice and make a decision on which specific blackjack game to play.
That’s where we can hopefully help. In this section, we’ll include all of our free blackjack games so that you can test the different variants yourself (without having to register), and get comfortable with the different rules. We’ll be including blackjack strategy sheets as well, so that you can immediately play the optimum strategy (when to hit, when to stand, when to double down etc).
Blackjack is popular because it offers some of the best odds that you’ll find in a casino (assuming that you play a perfect strategy). Only baccarat and video poker really come close. Bear in mind that the house edge in European Blackjack will be slightly different than, say, Atlantic City blackjack. We run through that as well.
We’d recommend that you start on a classic variant like European Blackjack, and hone your skills on a game that doesn’t have too many “strange rules”. once you have become an expert at the game, you can then decide which feautures you’d like to turn up, and which features you’d like to tone down, and choose a variant accordingly. For example, do you like taking out Insurance? How many times would you like to be able to plit your hand, and so on.
